Ozark Trail Portable Camp Kitchen Sink Table - Camp in Style and Comfort

Ozark Trail Portable Camp Kitchen

I have done my share of camping, and to me the worst part was organizing food preparation which always seemed to land on my shoulders as Mom.

We would need one picnic table just for the space to prep, chop and cook, then another table to eat on.  When the kids were younger, we chose the simplest menu available and even then it took some organizing.

We all love camping for the rustic living, but we also have to be safe with food prep, and I found I was short of cutting areas for veggies and meat.  I missed my counter top at home, but if I was really switched on, I tried to prep as much as I could before we set out.

But it is nice to cook fresh and so one of these camp kitchens would have worked well.  It is amazing how portable these camping aids are now.

I have seen all kinds of really cool camping equipment and aids to make it just a little easier, but with a smaller car this was always an issue.  But I came across this portable camp kitchen by Ozark Trail, which I thought would seriously fit the bill and it is under 100 dollars!!

Durable Ozark Trail Portable Camp Kitchen and Sink Table

Folds Flat

It Folds Down Flat and even has a pole for the lantern so you can see what you are doing at night.
It has a place to keep all your utensils (back rack), so you can literally unpack those as soon as you set up, and there is counter space and a plastic sink and a place to hang the garbage bag.    You can prep your food and then barbecue or however you are cooking without rummaging for the right knife or spoon.

The best part is you can simply wipe it clean with a disinfectant cleaner and you are ready to go again. (don’t forget some kind of disinfectant spray cleaner)

Plastic Sink Included

You could use this to wash veggies or dishes as you prep.  If you have your propane barby close by, you can heat up water to use in the sink.

No bending Over a Picnic Table

I found trying to prep food at a dirty picnic table difficult on my back, this Ozark Trail portable camp kitchen sink table is the right height.

Add a Kitchen Tent - Huge Game Changer!

One of the first things we invested in when we decided to camp was a kitchen tent.  Unless you camp with an RV or trailer, you need some shelter from the elements for food prep and eating.  We lived in an old RV while we built a house for 6 months many years ago, and we needed the kitchen to be outdoors.  We set up the best we could but I really could have used a portable camp kitchen, I made do with an old card table, but at least we were sheltered from rain and bugs.
Portable Kitchen Tent

If you have limited room for your camping trip, try to find camping equipment that will fold flat or super portable or has many uses in one.  You will be surprised just how much you can fit in the trunk.

Double Duty

Make sure everything you wish to invest in for your trip works double time.  Meaning it can be very useful for so many things.  This way you don’t need a huge pile of equipment.  Stay away from anything too specialized unless it is something you truly want.  A portable camp kitchen works as a perfect work top, a place to dish food, cooking utensil storage, and washing up sink, as well as a hanger for the lantern.

Cheap Camping Equipment

I have found online to have some of the best deals when it comes to cheap camping equipment.  Many items such as this portable kitchen are under 100 dollars, and can really make life easier, and therefore more enjoyable.  Just click on either link above and go shopping, you will be surprised at some of the good name brand deals.

I like camping but I also like some creature comforts, and as my family has decided it is time to upgrade some of our equipment, we are taking a look at what part of camping is too rustic and finding the right piece to help.

Hope this has inspired you to check online, you will be surprised at what is available and at a great price
