How to Make a Picture Clothesline Using Fred Cat Walk Picture Hangers

If you read any of my posts, you have probably figured out I am a cat lover.  I have 3 cats, and one of my favorite things to do is take lots of cell phone pictures!

But now that my phone is due to be replaced I uploaded my pics to my computer and thought ... Now what?.

I don't have the room to hang frames and that would get expensive, but I came across the idea of using a picture clothesline and thought.. what an awesome idea!  This way you can hang a lot of pictures in one go.

But I also wanted to use these really cute clips called Fred Cat Walk Picture Hangers.  They are basically like paper clips with cat shapes on them.  I thought this would add to the theme.

To get Started:

Purchase a roll of picture hanging wire
Thumb tacks
Picture Hangers (paper clips, or cuter!)
Printed Pictures or artwork (I like to keep them all the same size so printed at 4 x 6 inches)

Method:

Find the wall or space you wish to hang your pics.  Secure the wire at one end with a thumb tack and then at the other end.  Decide how tight you want the wire or not, and then start hanging your pictures with the clips!

You can get kits that work too that come with the wire and clothesline style clips.

You can fit a lot of pictures in one small space using this method. If you keep the prints the same size this looks awesome and you could even take it a step further and go with black and white photos. These picture hanging clips are the cutest, especially if you are going with a cat theme.

Photo Clotheslines are Perfect for Renters and Small Spaces

If you rent and don't want to cause damage to the walls, stringing a picture wire across and securing it with those 3M no damage clips is another option.  You could totally decorate a wall in photos from your cell phone with no damage to the wall.

If you upload them to your phone, then onto a data stick or upload to online picture printing places such as Staples you could have them printed quickly and then instantly decorate a blank wall with your cat pictures, kids, pets, artwork.

Office Cubicle

If you want to decorate your office cubicle, you could pick some choice pictures to dress up the plain walls that won't do any damage.  You can fit a lot of photos in a small space if you string up a few lines.
